I have been involved in the rehabilitation and performance field since 2005. In addition to my career as a Physiotherapist, I have worked as a Kinesiologist, Personal Fitness Trainer, University Teaching Assistant, and an Athletic Trainer with Acadia University’s Varsity Football Team. I graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Specializing in Sports Rehabilitation), and Queen’s University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy.
My wife and I spend the bulk of our leisure time playing in the mountains: In the summer I spend my time rock climbing, alpine climbing, mountain biking and trail running. In the winter I spend my time ice climbing, backcountry skiing, and cross-country skiing. My understanding of mountain sports allows me to better understand my clients’ injuries, how their injuries relate to their sport, and allows me to accurately design their rehabilitation programs. |
